Description
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 3rd to 4th century CE. An elegant, free-blown beaker formed from translucent, sage-hued glass. The beaker is defined by a slightly concave base, a gradually-expanding conical body, and a lightly-flared rim with a ground-down rim. Wheel cut lines are just below the rim. Size: 3.4" W x 5.25" H (8.6 cm x 13.3 cm)

Condition
Repaired from multiple pieces. The repairs are limited to one side and the lower foot. Light deposits on surface. Vessel possesses a pontil scar or mark which indicates that the vessel was free-blown. (The absence of such a mark would suggest that the work was either mold-blown or that the mark was intentionally smoothed away or worn away over time.)
