Description

Antique c1870s 4 Patch Quilt, measuring 86x88 inches. Fabrics in the quilt are as early as 1845 like the Prussian Blues and an 1860 fugitive purple. 6.5 inch 4 Patch blocks are set on point, 6 by 8 with alternating print squares, brown print setting triangles, partial block setting triangles along the top, and a brown print border on 3 sides. There are corner cut outs along the bottom for a poster bed. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a natural color woven solid fabric on the reverse. Brown cotton print binding is applied by hand to finish the edges. In good condition with some spots. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
