On the occasion of the release of the latest Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, the Italian fountain pen manufacturer Montegrappa launched a limited edition in his honour. It is an edition of 1939, the number representing the date of creation of the superhero by Bob Kane and Bill Finger.
The Montegrappa Batman fountain pen is made of carbon fibre and steel, with its barrel decorated with the silhouette of the bat. The nib is made of solid 18 Kts. gold, with rhodium-plated finish and engraved batman logo.
