U.S. Grant PSA Mint 9, Bold Signature

U.S. Grant signature on a cream-colored card with gilded edges and folded at top right corner, 3.5" x 2.25." Boldly signed as "U.S. Grant." Evidence of prior mounting and dealers notes on verso, but very visually appealing. PSA has encapsulated and graded the fine example of Grant's signature a Mint 9. The slab measures 3.125" x 5.25."

In 1865, as commanding general, Ulysses S. Grant led the Union Armies to victory over the Confederacy in the American Civil War. As an American hero, Grant was later elected the 18th President of the United States (1869–1877), working to implement Congressional Reconstruction and remove the vestiges of slavery.
