Description
DESCRIPTION: Civil War trunk marked "LIEUT COLN" over "10TH REGT, W.V.". The 10th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry Regiment was organized at Camp Pickens between March 12 and May 18, 1862. It was mustered out on August 9, 1865. The Colonel to whom it belonged was possibly Moses S. Hall, Lewis Marsh or Thomas Harris.
MEASUREMENTS: 36" x 22-3/8" x 19-3/4".
CONDITION: Very Good. Wear to trunk consistent with age. Metal clasp and brackets are solid.
