14 Southern Transmittal Covers with 20 Total Jefferson Davis Stamps

Fourteen Southern transmittal covers, of varying sizes, postmarked from Vicksburg, Richmond, Raleigh, Culpeper Court House, etc., with dates unknown. With varying degrees of toning, soiling, wear, tearing, etc. Please refer to the photographs for further condition information. Overall, very good.

The majority of the covers are addressed to women in North Carolina, Virginia, Mississippi, and South Carolina. There are three addressed to men: Ralph Gorrell Esq. of Greensboro, NC; E.A. Vogler Esq. of Salem, NC; and John R. Halker of Chattanooga, TN. All but one have one or multiple Jefferson Davis stamps. One cover has been made out of re-used numerical paper. The majority are full envelopes, but a few are just the front addresses.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
