A great lot of 2 rare mechanical pencil sharpeners. (A) A very rare Chelsea mechanical pencil sharpener from Chelsea Michigan at the turn of the 20th century. CONDITION: This example is in original paint, has had sandpaper applied to the wheel sometime in the past, with the original pencil holding device. A great example in very respectable condition. (B) Planetary Pencil Pointer by the A.B. Dick Company, 1896. Cast iron showing the original brass label, shavings drawer and crank handle. CONDITION: Little oxidation to the painted surfaces, light scratches and scuffs to the paint. A very fine example. With the original shipping crate. Both sharpeners are operational.
