    1 Antique Rare British Bronze Nickel Devil Lucifer Golfing Society Car Mascot Hallmark Signed.

    We are so excited to bring this exclusive rare car mascot to the open market.

    Lucifer golfing society car mascot figure.

    Made from bronze with a nickel-plated finish.

    Which depicts a pipe-smoking devil wearing traditional trousers plus-fours, standing in a devilish pose holding his golf club with 1 arm over his shoulder with a bag of golf clubs by his golf his golf shoes. His classic horns on top and tail behind.

    On the side of the base is the inscription 'Lucifer Golfing Society'.

    This model is hallmark signed underneath showing a pictorial of a trumpet and character letters believed to read as D B & G.

    Very rare original.

    In 1921 Sir Hedley le Bas and friends founded the Lucifer Golfing Society, an exclusive private gentleman's club in London, limited to only 60 members rising to a limit of 100 in 1925. Members included Charles Sykes, Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII and the Duke of Edinburgh. In 1936 Charles Sykes became the Society's Captain.

    Circa early 20th century beginning of the 1920's.

    It weighs just under 400 grams approximate.

    So collectible & adorable, highly sought after by collectors.

    Having such a beautiful finish with charming patina.

    Having charming patina wear, scuffs, scratches, stains, weathering, some losses of chrome particularly to the golf club area commensurate with usage & old age. We love this original used worn patina look.
