Griffen, Smith & Hill, Etruscan Majolica 'Shell and Seaweed' Part Tea Service
Circa 1884
Comprising a teapot & cover, shape no. E24, black 40 angle, height 7 inches; teapot, shape no. E24, black 41 straight, height 6 1/2 inches; sugar bowl and cover, shape no. E25, impressed Z, height 5 1/2 inches; large jug, shape no. E26, height 5 3/4 inches; milk jug, shape no. E26, black 33, height 4 1/2 inches; cream jug, shape no. E26, black 32, height 3 3/4 inches; small jug, shape no. E26, black 31, height 3 1/4 inches; and fourteen teacups and eleven saucers, shape no. O4, diameter 6 inches; with impressed GSH monogram and Etruscan Majolica medallion mark and shape number.
