Two Chinese famille rose fruit plates
19th century
Comprising one of a dark mustard-colored glaze with lotus pond scene to exterior; the other of white-ground with a pond scene. (2).
H: 2 7/8, W: 14 1/2, D: 11 in.
H: 7.3, W: 36.83, D: 27.94 cm. (largest)
Provenance: Mrs. Jolovitz, Bethesda, Maryland. Mrs. Jolvitz was born in Shanghai in the 1930s. Her parents left Russia in the 1920s and moved to Harbin, China, then Shanghai and Hong Kong. Eventually, they immigrated to United States in 1950s. These items were collected by Mrs. Jolovitz's mother in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Condition
Yellow with area of overpainting and a glaze chip to rim. The white with several minor areas of glaze loss to interior, overall good condition.
