Native American, Southwestern United States, Dine (Navajo), ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A hand woven yarn tunic or biil dress and sash / belt, made from yarn aniline dyed in bright colors. The biil is made from two panels sewn together with openings at the neck and arms, was often worn cinched by a belt or sash during special occasions. Such dresses are still made today to purchase and wear during school graduations or heritage events. Size of dress: 33.5" L x 25" W (85.1 cm x 63.5 cm)

Some wear and pulling to dress fibers, but intact and tightly woven. Sash is excellent.
