The Wright Brothers National Memorial, located in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, commemorates the first successful series of powered flights in a heavier-than-air machine. Between 1900 and 1903, Wilbur and Orville Wright came to the site from Dayton, Ohio after researching information on the area's steady winds. They also valued the privacy provided by this location, which in the early twentieth century was remote from major population centers.
This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
