Item Details

Description

A grouping of two Chinese Longquan pottery vessels including a Longquan ceramic dish, Southern Song dynasty (1.25"H x 6" in diameter) and a Longquan celadon petal-carved shallow bowl. Southern Song dynasty. The rounded sides carved in low relief on the exterior with a band of overlapping lotus petals rising from the neat, slightly tapering foot ring, covered inside and out with a glaze of soft pale green tone (2.65"H x 6" in diameter) . Both items from the Maria Anglesio collection, thence by descent to the present owner.

Condition

The bowl in Very good age-appropriate condition. No repairs, chips or hairlines, the low dish in good age-appropriate condition, with very minor glaze chips on the edges. No hairlines, or repairs.
