A Meissen group of child musicians and a figure of a boy firing a crossbow, late 19th century
After late 18th-century models, the first with a child holding a baton and a sheet of music surrounded by four children playing instruments on a rocky base with moulded classical border; the second if a boy in 18th-century dress standing by a broken column firing a crossbow, the circular base with scroll border, 17cm and 15cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (the boy with two incised cancellation marks), incised model numbers B.24 and F. 33, impressed numerals and painters' numerals, (minor damage) (2)

The baton in the conductor's hand is broken off.
The seated girl harpist has chips to three fingers on her right hand.
The lower right leg of the boy flautist is broken off, and there are chips to his flute and right little finger and several to his hat.
The neck of the lute is broken off.
There are four flat chips to the edge of the tambourine.
Boy shooting crossbow:
The bow of the crossbow is broken off.
There are two very small flat chips to the edge of his coat tails at his left rear.
Otherwise in good condition.
