Things to Come is a 1936 British science fiction film directed by William Cameron Menzies and starring Academy Award-winner Raymond Massey and Edward Chapman. Based on author H.G. Wells' book The Shape of Things to Come, the film projects what the world might look like in 100 years after a major war, plague, tribalism, and eventual resurrection by a corps of engineers. Film Weekly voted it the ninth best British film of 1936.
