A cased Order of the German Eagle – a 2nd class set
Silver six-pointed breast star, the gilt badge of the order enamelled in white and appliquéd with two rivets. The vertical fastening pin with the mark of fineness "900". Height 75 mm, weight 44.5 g. The neck cross made of gilt silver, enamelled in white on both sides. Stamped with the mark of fineness "900" and illegible manufacturer's mark in the ring. Width 50 mm. Customised neck ribbon. Re-enamelled, the gilding refreshed. In the red leather presentation case (knocked) with a gold-embossed national eagle, the gold-embossed class designation in the white silk lining of the lid (tr.) "Order of the German Eagle – Merit Cross with Star".
