Native American / First Nations, Pacific Northwest Coast United States or Canada, Tlingit / Haida, ca. 20th century CE. A pair of hand carved and painted miniature paddles with eagles. Small paddles were used in dances as symbolic objects and tools for navigating their coastal environment. Size: 13" L x 2.25" W (33 cm x 5.7 cm)
