Description
A selection of three items of gold jewellery. To include an early 20th century 15ct gold aquamarine and split pearl brooch, an 18ct gold band ring, together with a 9ct gold signet ring. Rings with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1982 and rubbed. Length of brooch 4.5cms. Total weight 7.4gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. First with possible replacement split pearls and pin. Safety chain is a different hue to the brooch. Some discolouration. Rings with evidence of resizing. Band ring is slightly off-round, maker's mark D. F. Width of band 5.4mms. Some smoothing to the surface of the signet ring. Split pearls fairly well matched, creamy-orange to creamy-grey hues. Fairly good skins with surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. Aquamarine greenish-blue, light colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstone in good condition with some abrasion/nibbles.
