DESCRIPTION: Military archive of Henry Ames Wight Jr. who retired from the Air Force on April 1 ,1966 as a Master Sergeant. Archive includes; framed certificate of retirement, 1977 retirement plaque from the Bureau of Employment Security of the Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania, Social Security Identification card, framed Freemason's certificate of induction into the Grand Army of Princes of the Royal Secret Thirty-Second Degree, framed certificate of induction as a worthy Companion Royal Select and Super Excellent Master of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, two photo albums of his overseas service in the 1940s and 1950s, three personalized name plates, a signed photo of General MacArthur, personalized zippo lighter, MATS N.C.O. Academy lighter, 9117th AFRRS, Rutland, VT. pen set, dog tags and necklaces, Sergeant's stripes, numerous good conduct, service and victory medals and bars, buttons, insignias, retirement pin, coins and pocket knife. MEASUREMENTS: Various CONDITION: The MacArthur photo has damaged glass. The pocketknife has a blade that is broken in half. The water skin's leather is stiff but intact. The leather holster is very good with supple leather. Two medallions are missing from the flap. ESTIMATE: $200-$400.
