Description
This is a Fine Model of 1860 Staff & Field Officer Presentation Grade Sword. The scabbard is steel and brass mounted, with possible gold plating. There is a good representation of the Eagle and Federal Shield. The blade is in good condition with “M. C. Richards”, “USA” nicely etched. The stingray skin grip has a split, however is fully wired intact. The Sword in the Scabbard measures approximately 36.75” long. As with any piece of this age, it is advised to view the photos or to preview in person to fully appreciate this piece and to determine the condition of this antique piece.
