Pre-Columbian, Peru, Inca, ca. 1500 CE. Child's tunic woven in camelid and native cotton fibers by Inca artisan. The design features horizontal stripes in alternating chocolate brown and tawny ochre - an attractive contrast that the Inca favored. Finely woven with one inch fringe at borders. Mounted on museum quality dark green linen. Textile itself measures 26-1/2"W x 29-1/2"L
