An American Revolutionary War Flintlock Service Musket, 44.5" long barrel, .75 cal. Barrel with site bead on top of muzzle and bayonet lug mounted on the underside, long tang (typically American Colonial). Brass furniture consists of; recycled British Military 1st Model Long Land Pattern Brown Bess Butt Plate and lower ram rod pipe, British Military 2nd Model Brown Bess side plate (reduced), Colonial American brass middle and upper ram rod pipes and an American or English made brass trigger guard. Unmarked Germanic or Dutch Military convex 'Banana' shaped Lock. Stock is missing a large chip in front of the lock, several stress crack above side plate. There is a period repair to the left side of butt where the wood started to split along the grain and was repaired by (2) wood screws, otherwise solid with scratches and dings from years of service. Hickory ram rod is most likely a later replacement. In good mechanical working order.
