Description
Arched fretwork on hood with three ball and spire brass finials. Arched glass door opens to reveal a white painted iron dial face with boys fishing painted in the arch and floral spandrels. Lettered “Aaron Willard Boston” painted on face. Turned reeded columns ending in brass capitals flank dial. Repeating quarter columns flank trunk. Forward lifting hood reveals an eight-day time and strike brass-driven movement and handwritten note on back board stating repair dates. Trunk door opens to reveal red painted tin-cased weights.
Missing lock. Scattered restoration from when the clock fell over several years ago.
Repaints and replacements on hood.
