A fine George II brass sundial, Hamlin, London, circa 1730, the 11.75inch circular cast plate fitted with angled gnomen set at 50 degrees and 45 minutes to centre within track annotated for the equation of time incorporating reserve signed HAMLIN LONDON at twelve o'clock and IIII-XII-VIII Roman numeral chapter ring with floating lozenge half hour markers and foliate scroll engraved decoration to the vacant space between the IIII and VIII numerals, fitted to Portland stone square section baluster pedestal with ogee moulded skirt base, 128cm (50.5ins) high.
