Description
An early twentieth century French silver mounted claret jug, the bulbous fluted glass body to the foliate embossed slender neck, hinged cover and scroll handle. French assay marks for Tetard Freres. Height measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm).
Condition
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The glass appears dirty and would benefit from a clean as would the silver. No personal engravings. French assay marks clear and legible.
