Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Monte Alban, ca. 700 to 1200 CE. Hand-built deep terracotta cylinder incised with a human skull-like motif. The exterior surface shows wonderful burnishing marks. Creepy yet sweet - perfect for Halloween! Size: 6" x 5-1/2" in diameter at rim.
