Two typed letters of two and a half pages in length, to Rancocas (Antiquarian Bookseller, Aldridge Williams, who lived in Rancocas, New Jersey) discussing match fishing, angling literature, the first mention of lady anglers in America, and truck rentals, all signed with his usual sign off "Sparse". A short typed letter of seasons greetings, signed "Sparse" and a letter to Helen Shaw discussing George LaBranche flies, other fly exhibits, and tournament casting and how the Angler's Club of New York was originally organized as a casting club, signed "Sparse. A typed letter from Sparse's wife Louise (Lady Beaverkill) on her stationery to a friend discussing her delight in reading letters from her husband, Howard's (who she is writing to, Howard Schuck) and Harry Darbee, deadlines given on a project, health of Richard Rossbach and Richard Salmon, De Bruce and Bea Moc Club's and one of Sparse's reels being donated to the Catskill Museum, signed "Louise". A two sided handwritten letter signed "Louise" sharing the news of the passing of her husband, Sparse and that Harry Darbee has passed away as well. All letters are Very Good plus or better with one with an old staple and stain.
