Description
A lengthy 6 page letter to Rancocas (antiquarian bookseller, Aldridge Williams, who lived in Rancocas, New Jersey) discussing topics such as: book selling business; cars, especially the Model-T Ford; Dick Hunt's book, "Salmon in Low Water" and Charles Phair's "Atlantic Salmon Fishing"; Harry Darbee and his fight with the state of New York on fishing regulations; his humorous thought on sex-fishing stories; Maine fishing; tale of a canoe trip in the 1870's; Charles Goodspeed, who for some reason refers to him as George Goodspeed. The other letter is to Hermann Kessler and wishing him and Helen Shaw seasons greetings and that he is enclosing a letter of thanks with the letter from Wes Jordan. Both are signed "Sparse". First letter with rusted paper clip else, all in Very Good plus or better condition with usual folds.
