Description
STRASBURG, SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA POLYCHROME-DECORATED EARTHENWARE / REDWARE DIMINUTIVE ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, lead-, copper-, and manganese-glazed over a slip wash, comprising a snuff jar, flower pot, and spittoon. Probably S. Bell & Son and/or the pottery of Jacob Eberly. 1880-1900. 2 1/4" to 5 1/4" H.
Poor condition with chipping, losses, and glaze exfoliation.
