Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. This is a pair of complementary small pottery figures - one a grey slipped kneeling figure of indeterminate sex, the other a female figure with arms splayed and fantastic headdress. Size: 5.2" W x 6.4" H (13.2 cm x 16.3 cm)
Provenance: Ex-private Olan collection, California, by family descent, acquired 1960 to 1970.
