Description
**Originally Listed At $200**

Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Narino region, Capuli Complex, ca. 850 to 1500 CE. A hand-built terracotta bowl with a flared rim supported by three very high, slender legs with pointy feet - dubbed "spider-legs" for their resemblance to limbs of that arachnid. The interior of the bowl shows wonderful burnishing marks and a saturated, lustrous red finish. Liberal manganese deposits across the underside and legs. These are quite rare, especially when in relatively good condition. Size: 7.875" in diameter x 8" H (20 cm x 20.3 cm)

Provenance: private Atlanta, Georgia collection
