Description
A lot of 3 Ptolemaic terracotta objects. Lot includes a pair of molded terracottas - a head from a figure of Harpokrates and a seated figure of Harpokrates, c. 2nd Century BC/AD, and a fragment of a Roman oil lamp depicting Serapis above an eagle. The seated figure nearly intact and the lamp fragment with collection label giving the provenance of Qurna, Egypt. Ex Dr. Gilles collection, Germany, acquired prior to 1970.
