I'm concerned this may not be a "real" operation
I've had troubles with respect to paying, getting confirmation and receiving shipment. I am not confident I will receive my items.

Live and learn-not worth it
Like previous reviews by others, this is yet another of several houses on the liveauctioneers site that sells cheap prints, mounted poorly (sometimes curved or bubbled) of great classic photos. Shipping is confusing, sometimes one dept. doesn't know what the other dept. has done, it takes forever to get resolved, then you wait. And, wait. Then, you realize, you've been duped into buying an overpriced copy, which is what you should probably expect. From now on, no more mounted copies or ones made in China, no photographer's marks, no live signatures. That's why they're more expensive. These, should only cost 1/5 of what we pay. Our fault for doing that. Their fault for still giving customers the runaround after so many bad reviews. Maybe I'll get my PAID order, maybe I won't. Who knows.

Photograph was not authentic but I received the refund
Shipping was not very fast. Unfortunately the photograph was not a silver gelatin print but a print on a cardboard. I sent back the photo and got the full refund. Very unsatisfied of this purchase.

SCAM
It seems this auction house is a scam, read the other reviews. No one answers the phone, I paid yet it wasn't reflected on LiveAuctioneers end, still shows unpaid and I haven't received my item. ZERO COMMUNICATION. Do not purchase anything!

Did not accept my credit card payment
Paid by credit card and they credited it back. They do not answer the telephone. They sent another invoice.

BUYER BEWARE
Overcharged shipping, opened frivolous unpaid dispute, has refused to close it after over 6 + months causing me to be rejected in registering for other auctions, they recently resold the auction item I won while keeping the unpaid dispute open …

No certificate of authenticity
I foolishly paid a lot of money for something that could have been (and maybe was) produced in a Kinkos. Caveat Emptor

I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO PROVIDE YOU WITH ORIGINAL ARTIFACTS.
Let me first give credit where it’s due: The auction house issued a full refund, which may have been influenced by my 20 years of experience as an auctioneer on this platform. That said, I bid on and won three items from this firm. Despite multiple one-star reviews citing copies, misrepresentation, and poor responsiveness, I decided to bid. The listings already raised concerns with blurry images and vague descriptions. One poster appeared to show an authentication stamp; another was described as having “pinholes.” Upon arrival, all three items were clearly fake — photocopied, forged reproductions. The “pinholes” were actually part of the photocopy, and the “authentication stamp” was printed, not embossed. No knowledgeable or trusted auctioneer examining these would describe them as authentic. In my own practice, such items would be removed from circulation, not profited from. A broader review of their prior and current listings show similar concerns, including repeated sales of questionable items and descriptions using terms like “after” or “unknown print date.” In art, “after [ artist ]” indicates a copy or reinterpretation, not an original work. This situation also reflects poorly on LiveAuctioneers as a platform. While their Compliance Department was responsive, enforcement appears inconsistent, allowing problematic sellers to continue operating. There are many reputable auctioneers available. Buyers should proceed with caution, independently verify authenticity, and confirm refund policies before purchasing from Greenville Estates — or better yet, work with a trusted auction house.

scam
funny five prints spanning over 50 years somehow are all printed on the same paper stock. everything received was just a glorified color photo copy. guessing this review will probably just be removed

Scam
This auction house is running a scam. The item I purchased was completely misrepresented. LiveAuctioneers should not do business with Greenville Estates LLC.

Missing items due to auction house ineptitude
I received an initial shipment that contained 4/6 items I purchased. After multiple attempts to get in touch with someone I was given a lame excuse about how the order was intentionally split into two shipments and that the second was on the way. When the shipment arrived it contained only 1 of the 2 missing items. This team is either wildly incapable or operate with no care or concern for the experience of their customers. In either scenario, I’d think twice before engaging.

Not the item that I purchased. Was told to return it. Haven’t heard from them since.
Still waiting for a response regarding an item which arrived and clearly wasn’t the one that I bid on/won. Sent back last month. Would like a full refund.

Damaged items
I received my item which I feel was misrepresented, damaged because of insufficient packing.
