Pleasant experience:
Live auctioneers had issues but the folks at Journey were a pleasure to work with. The items were well packaged, probably over packaged which isn’t a bad thing but they were metal magazines and pretty hard to hurt. I would definitely recommend and look forward to any upcoming auctions. Thank you for the great support and service.

Sent me a broken pistol
Per their exact description "A Ruger Bearcat 6-shot. 22LR revolver in very good condition overall with a soft case a holster. The trigger guard is made of brass. The revolver appears to be single action with the action appearing to function properly." Upon arrival there was no damage to the shipping box and the revolver was in a soft case, inside a holster, so shipping is not to blame. The action is completely bound up, there is no way they function checked anything on this pistol. The base pin appears to be bent and you cannot move the hammer back even a millimeter of travel. After having tried to straighten the base pin thinking it was causing the binding, the action is still seized. Took the pistol apart probably 10 times and put it back together per rugers official tech tip video on assembly and disassembly. Nothing would get it to reliable cycle the action. Occasionally, after playing with the how far the base pin is inserted, you can free up the action, and finish seating the base pin. Inevitably though after a couple cocks it binds up again. Having received the revolver completely seized, I find it hard to believe it was functioning at the auction house. I have owned over 300 guns and do my own smith work and this one is having to go back to Ruger to see if they can hopefully fix it...
