The September edition of our biannual 19th Century and British Impressionist Art Sale will showcase paintings and drawings by a diverse array of artists including Sir Alfred James Munnings, John Ruskin, Frederick Arthur Bridgman, Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones and Dame Laura Knight. Very worst packaging.
Most of the items were shipped together in plastic bags-essentially "metal-on-metal"-which is a truly deplorable situation given the exceptional rarity and high value of the goods.
