We're so Proud to announce that over the coming months, we will be selling the Master Tape Archive of the Legendary "Hit Factory" New York City recording studio. "The Hit Factory" was the recording location for some of the biggest hits in music history. Legends such as John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, The Notorious B.I.G. and the Wu-Tang Clan all recorded there. STAY FAR AWAY!!! The items were delivered with zero original documents
WORST SCAM on liveauctioneers! STAY FAR AWAY music collectors! In the auction listing itself, they state that this letters of provenance from the daughter each item.. The items were delivered without any original letters of provenance. Instead, the package contained only 1 single, shared PHOTOCOPY of the Letters of provenance!!!!!! I have been spend 2897 USD on ' rare history ' tapes with only ONE photocopy..... In the high-value memorabilia market, a photocopy has zero legal, historical, or financial value. It does not qualify as an official certificate of authenticity or a valid Letter of Provenance. Anyone can print a photocopy, which completely destroys the commercial and authentic value of these (2897 USD in total) The seller has just responded and explicitly admitted to a material misrepresentation. The seller states in writing: "As the LOA covers the complete collection, it would be impossible to send an original with each one." This confirms that the seller knowingly advertised individual, original letters for each item to drive up the bidding price, despite knowing they could not deliver them. The seller is attempting to hide behind general "As Is" terms, but by their own admission, they have failed to deliver the core authentication documents promised in the specific item listing. Please review the attached screenshot of the seller's message, which proves they cannot and will not fulfill the binding terms of the auction contract. I request a full refund via PayPal Buyer Protection. I wish I could upload all the evidence here, but I can't send pictures here.
