They neglected to disclose that the rear sight blade was broken off. In regards to vintage, out of production airguns like this one. Finding a suitable replacement part will be very difficult.

Fraudulent auctioneer-bidders beware
I bid live, through LiveAuctioneers, on an item in an early May estate sale at Burgess Auctions. I planned for weeks to participate online in the auction, and I planned my finances around the item I was interested in bidding on. The day of the auction, I had a lengthy back-and-forth bidding with at least one other bidder but ultimately placed the winning bid. There was plenty of time following my final bid for another bidder to place a bid before the lot closed, but no one did, and I clearly won the item. Live Auctioneers sent me a bill and I submitted my full payment promptly. I arranged a private shipper to pick up the item. Three days following my full payment, I called Burgess Auctions to arrange the pick-up. Without even looking up my full information, a man there told me brusquely, with no explanation, that I hadn't won the lot. He was rude and condescending, offering no apology or reasoning, simply stating over and over again that I hadn't won the lot. The man told me I had been refunded (this hadn't yet appeared on my bank statement) and that there was nothing else he needed to say. I had not received ANY communication from Burgess about any of this. My bids significantly raised the price of the item, so acting as though I hadn't placed the final bid when in fact I had is fraud. The auction record still shows my winning bid as the sale price of the item; this artificially inflates the value for comparable items. If this auctioneer can pretend that online bids aren't real, then all participating bidders, both online and in person, are being duped into paying artificially inflated prices. This should be illegal. Live Auctioneers should ban this completely unprofessional auction company. It's unfair for them to benefit from the platform's reach without having any accountability to its customers. I've been an online bidder for over a decade and have never experienced anything like this. Bidders beware.
