Alexander was a former first team All-American football player from Rutgers University, member of the College Football Hall of Fame, NFL player for the New York Titans (Jets), and CEO for Young & Rubicam. His collection features American coin silver, jewelry, folk art, painted early American furniture, and a group of Pointer related materials. This sale also features items from a mountain top Pittsfield, Vermont retreat including fine formal English furnishings, library, & carpets. Paintings include a well documented George Inness, & William Hart. Items also descending in the family of Samuel Colt, founder of Colt firearms. Preview in person THURSDAY, August 13th from 1 to 6 pm, & FRIDAY, August 14th from 8 am until 9:30 am sale time, or by prior appointment. Excellent experience, be patient on shipping
Excellent auction house, very responsive to inquiries. They don't have a large shipping department and they pack carefully, so it takes time to get all the items sent out. Be patient and you'll be happy when it arrives.
