I purchased the spear on January 23, 2026, and when I did not receive notice of when it was shipped, I contacted Live Auctioneers Shipping Department on February 5, 2026, and was informed that the item had not been picked up yet. It is now February 14, 2026, and I have yet to receive the item.

The items that I bought exceeded my expectations. They are all original and awesome. One of the best lots I have bought. Shipping was a bit slow BUT they did proactively say it would take 2-3 weeks to get my lot. Provenance in the shipment was perfect and it was packed with Care. I highly recommend this auction house.

I would be very careful. I was previously sold a PreColumbian piece as authentic which later (when I asked them to resell it) was found to be a modern copy. Very slow in paying auction payments (not slow in requesting payment). Also took weeks to receive my last item. Be careful,

I love the mask I bought as much as I hoped. It's great. Artemis is accurate in their representations. There was a slow down in shipping because the shipper was down an employee for health reasons so it took a while, but this is the same shipper used by many auctioneers, and it was really a fluke. They were responsive in providing an update when I asked.

These guys charged me over $200 ro ship a 2oz (45g) watch that cost $200. Even a month after paying I still have notnreceived the item and still have no tracking number. Horrible follow up, horrible customer service and will 100 % rob you blind on shipping.

I was very pleased with the two items I purchased from the Artemis auction. The photos and description were accurate and gave an excellent representation of the items. What had me shaking my head was the enormous shipping box filled with so much Styrofoam peanuts I filled four 13 gallon bags with them. What huge and fragile items were they protecting? A pair of native alaskan leather mittens and an Inuit leather and fur doll of typical size. Nothing to break or see. I will think twice about bidding on future Artemis auctions, strictly due to the overdone packaging. Otherwise it was an easy and pleasant transaction.

Took a long time to receive delivery, over 4 weeks time.

The purchase was a pair of earrings for $100 and the shipping costs was $44. That is much too high.

These guys do not communicate with customers at all, do not respond to urgent questions. I do not recommend buying for customers from outside the US.

As someone new to online auctions, I wasn't sure how complicated a process it might be.
