1. I bought a 35 $item. I called Bertha's to inquire about payment 2-3 times. Message went to voicemail, did not leave message because the phone number in the voicemail was not the same that I dialed. 3rd time I left a message explaining the above. No answer 2. I made the payment via paypal as instructed. For some reason payment did not go through (I assume my fault). Bertha's this time called me to have the payment (the email they wanted to use was different from the one in the instructions). I checked and paid promptly and inquired about shipping: no answer. 3. I followed instructions again and referred to live auctioneers shipping. Once contacted live auctioneers they told me they are not providers for Bertha's. Contacted Bertha's: no answer. 4. Reached out to UPS as per plan B on instructions. Manager for Bertha's shipping was not there the only one that deal with auction shipping. Called back few days later. Organized shipping. 70 . (for a 35 $item). I asked why, they could not go down with the price. I buy stuff with auctions; this is the highest price for such a small item I have ever paid. The item took a week to arrive to my home It seems to me that Berhta's was satisfied with the payment and stopped right there. Luckly there are better auction parties out there Thanks

Item sold was poorly described and inaccurate
The item I bid on turned out to be a 20th century REPRODUCTION. You can't tell everything from a photo... online sellers MUST accurately describe items as original or not, and if they don't have the expertise to know the difference, they should say so-or retain experts.

Great auction experience!
My experience with Bertha’s Gallery was wonderful. items won were just as described. Communication was easy, shipping thru UPS was a bit more expensive than I had anticipated, but was packed extremely well and my 2 sets of depression glass dishes arrived safely and even a day early. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Great easy transaction
Bertha's was very helpful with answering my questions, and was a very smooth transition to the UPS Store which made it an easy process. This was my first live auction experience and would definitely use Bertha's Auction again!

Beware of Trains
Trains were sold as working. Neither worked and was told tough luck. Demand video of operation before bidding. Was specifically told they were operational.
