I was extremely happy to bid on the TGV HO Scale that galaxy was auctioning and even happier when I won. I received the package in a timely manner and I was happy to see the shipping charges were not outrageous. Little did I know when I got the item it was the wrong scale. Instead of an HO scale it was an N Scale which if you are a collector or train modeler of HO you have NO USE for an N scale train. I called and asked what happened and why they didn’t follow procedure to inspect and offer an accurate description of the item as the rules state. They told me “we follow description of the seller” which gives me NO TRUST on future purchase because if I sell them a lemon saying it’s an orange they will take it as a TRUE DESCRIPTION When I reported to live auctioneers they told me they would refund the charges but not the shipping costs which I NOW have to endure for them to get the item back which will be EVEN MORE than the cost of the item. Why would I buy from them since I’m the only one penalized for it. I will NEVER buy again from them and I hope live auctioneers help me resolve this and penalize them for not following with the simple rules of an auction which are inspect and provide an accurate description of the item you are selling.

Shipping was ridiculous. Will not be back

I bid on a track assortment and won it for about $13.00. I surrender payment immediately. I wasn’t notified of shipping costs for over 2 weeks. When I was contacted the shipping costs were very high for what I bought. $17.00 to ship a few sections of track was outrageous. Clearly it only. It’s $8-$9 to ship this. Used carton so no box costs. For a $13 purchase to have a $17 shipped cost is ridiculous. I ship all the time and this box was definitely in the $8-$9 range to ship. Nothing delicate was packed. This experience has made me decide to NOT do business with Railroad Galaxy again. I feel I was “Railroaded on shipping costs ��. It also took 2 1/2 weeks to arrive. Thanks but no thanks. Terrible shipping. Wood water tower was in pieces when it arrived. Whoever packaged the item did not care at all

They sold defective items They pictures quality very poor. Looks like They took the pictures an old cell phone. Arrogant and rude customer service I’ll be very careful next time....

the description of the items which showed an LGB bridge implied that there was a bridge in it which is the reason why i bid on the items. they should have explained the box was there to hold the items in the picture and did not have the bridge in it. after the auction closed I emailed them to make sure there was a bridge in the box and they responded in had something in it. if i had known it was the items in it that were in the picture i would have told them to throw out the items and not pay to ship them. i only bid on the auction to get the bridge.
