Deutsch Auctioneers
About 120 years ago at the end of the 19th century the first members of the Deutsch family began to trade antiques. In the beginning grown out of an accidental transaction, dealing with antiques soon became our chief occupation.
Today all members of Deutsch family are in the business with enthusiasm, interest and fascination in the field. It's not only the subsistence of life, but also the life occupation of the family.
After the World War I two stores opened in the inner historical city of Vienna, but they got lost during the beginning of World War II. After the wars, the stores were open again in London in 1949 by Hugo Deutsch, and in Vienna in 1954 by Friedrich Deutsch. Both branches are in operation today.

I had one problem that was not their fault. I tried to send the export papers on Friday for a Monday pickup. I could not get thru to Austria. Their lines, both email and phone, were out of commission all day. So, they went thru on Monday and the pick up was Tuesday. Not their fault.
