Very honest

Frequent poster auction participant. Had many good lots offered. Descriptions were accurate. However, this is first site where I've had to receive shipping from third party. This is a dilemma when no prices are displayed. I had to pay $153 to ship 2 poster lots from Massachusetts to Virginia. I was flabbergasted. $50 would have been high. Beware!

Unlike most auctions houses and Live Auctioneers, these people actually do return calls and do what they say that they are going to do.

I ordered this set of spoons and forks. The forks showed a much nogram but the spoons did not. When they arrived, they were monogrammed. Should I have asked? Probably. But typically when silver is monogrammed it is either disclosed or the monogram is picture. Absence of either implies a lack of monogramming. Very disappointed.

Can’t wait to see what they have to offer in the next auction. A great company with which to deal.

This is my second time purchasing from this auction house. I liked that the descriptions were accurate and included the weights for copper cookware I purchased. My items matched the photos exactly. I felt confident bidding on these items. I picked up my items in person and found the staff helpful. I would definitely do business with them again.

The item was better than expected. However, Diane and Frank are outstanding. I spoke with her several times and she was always so supportive and encouraging. They made the experience so personable that I’m going to see them in person. They always offer the best items available And shipping and second to none. You can feel the friendliness and see the smiles through the phone. This is The best Auction experience I’ve ever had. If you were on the wall over trying something, you must try these folks. You will feel like you are a part of their family.

Paid for the item the day after the auction and over 20 days later o still don’t have my map even though I reached out to the shipper immediately. Not sure I would do business with this house again. I get they are in a small locale, but they either need to do a smaller auction or get some in house capacity.

I had no issues whatsoever with the auction company. Everything was just as it should be. Arrived just fine. Again, Marion Auctions was a great experience and I hope to buy from them again!
