I bought 14 small items. All were as described and wrapped professionally with small photos which each wrapping contained. I was concerned as to the charge for wrapping & shipping. I was amazed as in reality it was less then my traveling an hour to pick up items from another auction house. A great experience with Pangaea

I acquired a beautiful Japanese plate and I'm thrilled with the detail and quality of the dish. The payment was fast and easy. Shipped well and wrapped safely. It either went to the wrong house, or it was shipped from outside of the Pangaea Auction site, but I did get it in a fairly timely manner. I look forward to seeing what else they have to sell.

The Auction ended on 30th of March and I paid within hours of the auction. I wrote them on the 4th of April as I had not heard anything and was reminded "We coordinate shipping with FedEx and all invoices paid by Thursday will be picked up Friday to be packed over the weekend and early next week."-That's fine, my mistake, however that is NOT what happened. 30th of March-Auction Ended 31st of March Invoice Received on at 10:24pm (est). 1st of April Invoice Paid at 7:27am (est). 4th of April wrote inquiry (received short/blunt response see above). 9th of April-Received email stating first round of shipping invoices sent out to first payers (I paid within hours-yet..... nothing). 11th of April Morning-Email received saying software issue, please be patient. 11th of April Night (10:51pm) received invoice for shipping and paid. 17th of April-Received notification ship date 11th of April (laughing-did not ship out on 11th). 22nd of April-Received well packed and beautiful items. I participated in numerous auctions after the auction with Pangaea and I received within a week my merchandise. It took 23 days from the time the auction ended, until I received my merchandise. I paid immediately and they were very happy to take payment. I paid for shipping as soon as I received the shipping invoice (almost 2 weeks later). While their merchandise is lovely and their shipping people are exemplary, this was the worst experience I have ever had with an online auction. Thank You!

Panglae ​ ​ Auctions takes care of everything, does it well, even for a small purchase, and keeps you constantly informed of what he does. For a foreign buyer it is quite appreciable. In addition the cost of his services is very, very reasonable. Compliments et remerciements.

Concerned about the terms to make arrangements as soon as possible. I contacted them because I hadn't received a invoice. They made me feel like I was bothering them. I then later after not receiving a invoice i contacted them again, I received the same type of response. The auction was on March 30th and I still haven't received my item.

As of writing this review, it has been over a month since bidding on and paying for product and I have yet to receive my paid for and won items. Everytime I reach out, they say "items will be sent next week." I am about to file a complaint. Horrible auction house, will never bid with them again.

Some anxious moments post auction with lack of timely information and again with shipping information. All ended well, however patience was stressed. More buyer communication would have helped overall experience.

I expect what I paid for, no more no less. If I have to track down the seller and he sounds as if I am interrupting his day, I probably am and I am probably shopping in the wrong place. Let’s keep it in proper context, it doesn’t matter if it was $2.00, $200.00, $200, 000.00 if it’s not worth your time don’t list it.

This company has the worst communication imaginable. I would never deal with this auction firm again.

I LOVE the in-house shipping!! I look for auction houses that do their own shipping. It's always less expensive than a UPS store. When I buy items at auction, my intent is not to keep the UPS shippers in business. I'm grateful that they are their own shippers! Thank you!

They ship inhouse making it incredibly easy and convenient. Their shipping rates are also reasonable. These are an excellent selling point!

The auction was fine. The shipping method was terrible. It is almost a fortnight since I paid for my purchase and FedEx told me today that the package was in California. I have wasted numerous telephone calls not to mention emails sent with no satisfaction. A most frustrating experience. I would prefer not to shop with this auction house again mainly because of the confusion of their shipper. Thank you for asking.

I have not received my item yet.

The description of my item said "this sculpture has the Canadian seal." It did not. When I asked if the Igloo Certificate was included they said they made a mistake and the description was copied from another auction they found online. I think the piece is authentic but without the seal it is far less documented. It was a nice piece and was low in price so I am not asking for a return/refund.

They sent me invoice late, other than that everything went well

After receiving my 'won' item, I am quite sure it couldn't possibly be what they claimed it to be. But since I only bid the opening amount and won it, I have no complaints. I just think they should be more careful. It was a print with a value written on the back of $450 by the seller. No way-I paid $25 and I believe it to be a modern copy-but who cares for $25!

Their payment system was awkward as well as charging me extra. PayPal was not an option. They sent it to my SC address when I wanted it to my NC address. I have yet to see what I purchased. I will not bother to try to buy anything from this auction again.

For having done so many transactions through your website and them all go smoothly, I feel the horrificness of this dealing has me completely turned on.
