William And Andy Jenack Had a Wonderful Auction!
This was a wonderful auction. I met Bill in a cornfield at a sale run by another well known auctioneer. I was young and didn't know much but I was attracted by a sporting print against a table and was looking at it as Bill came by. We met and he explained the print to me. Then he said, we can buy it and split the profit. He told me he was starting an auction. Bill paid for the picture and took it away. He didn't even ask for me to pay my half. Then after awhile, the print did sell for $400 and I received a check for $200. After that I became good friends with Bill and his wife Andy. They worked hard and built a great auction. Honest as the day is long. Just really good people. So now I am 76 and I still have many "treasures" I purchased at their auctions. Any many memories from those years of my life.
