Thank you for visiting Belhorn Auction Services, LLC. Since the early 1990s, Steve Belhorn has specialized in selling American Art Pottery at auction. Today his son, Greg Belhorn, heads Belhorn Auction Services, LLC, a firm providing complete auction services to all clients. Whether you are considering selling one item or an entire collection we can meet your needs. Our consignment terms and commission rates are very competitive. More importantly, our staff has the experience, knowledge and dedication to ensure you receive top dollar for your items by conducting a well-organized, professional auction.
Belhorn Auction Services, LLC holds a unique position in the Central Ohio auction community. We are proud of the fact that we are the only Columbus-based auction provider regularly conducting catalogued, live auctions that incorporate live internet bidding as part of the experience. In September of 2005, we successfully conducted our first "virtual auction," held solely on the internet. Partnering with providers such as eBay Live Auctions, Live Auctioneers and Proxibid has allowed us to develop a system of marketing within the auction industry that makes our auctions worldwide events.
While Belhorn Auction Services, LLC has sold everything from fine jewelry to real estate, we have traditionally specialized in the sale of American Art Pottery. Specifically, those produced in Ohio such as Roseville, Weller, Rookwood, Hull, Brush, McCoy, Peters & Reed, Cambridge, Owens, Robinson Ransbottom and others. We also have developed a second area of specialization in U.S. rare coins. Furthermore, our staff has had extensive experience with elegant and depression glass, art glass, advertising items, general antiques, fine jewelry and more. We can accommodate consignments of an individual item or entire collections.
We are always seeking consignments for our auctions and offer competitive commission rates. Our marketing program includes direct marketing to our extensive mail and email lists. These lists have literally thousands of eager buyers from all over the country as well as numerous foreign countries. We also utilize printed advertising in local and national media, internet advertising and distribute of flyers throughout the Midwest.
