As advertised
Work actually looks better than it did in the listing photos, I am very pleased. A post auction? was promptly answered. Shipping was a little slow, but for the price well worth it. I heartily recommend Miami Auction Gallery.

More description needed
My overall review is generally good. However, the item was not exactly as specified. There were two moth cocoons that were attached to the frame, and the item smelt very musky. I understand it is a very old item by the artist however, the frame was definitely not as pictured.

Hi Frank, We do apologize that you feel like that. We always encourage customers to reach out if you are confuse with item descriptions. In the title of the item we put 3 automatic watches, and in the description we put in the manner of Rolex. "Manner of" means in the "style of". We also started the listing for $10, we believe that the listing price also reflected that it was the style of Rolex.

Item arrived with damage that wasn't pictured.
Shipping was a bit confusing and the item arrived damaged. (Both old damage and a fresh chunk off the wing. That said, I've still glad to have the angel.

Bronze Hermes statue after Giambologna
The item was well represented in the detailed pictures and although I did not have any questions about the particular item (existing damage or marred imperfections, I do believe that Miami Auctions would have answered any and all questions in a timely manner. I did have some questions concerning shipment and they were answered thoroughly and timely. Concerning the shipping, I happen to know about shipping very delicate and fragile items as I worked in a high-end antique and art retail business and would occasionally have to build crates/boxes for unusual sized items. Upon arrival, the packaging was top-notch and the item arrived without damage. If I should ever find something else that I would like to purchase, I have no reservations about going through Miami Auctions again.

Very helpful staff, fast responses and shipping
I had a great experience with Miami Auction Gallery. I sent questions and received answers quickly. They split up a multiple item lot so I could get the one item I was interested in. Shipping was reasonable and very fast. Overall it was a great experience. I'll definitely buy from them again.

Wrong painting sent and fake stamps sold
1) Bid two paintings. One of them was sent a lot passed instead and they couldn't locate the painting I actually bid. They asked me to kept the wrong one but that couldn't compensate at all my packing and shipping cost. 2) Almost half of the Chinese stamps they sent are fake stamps. It's funny that the Chinese stamps were spread to several albums, and why this happened is anyone's guess.

Incorrect Artist
I bought a painting by a famous European painter from Miami Auction Gallery. It was not mentioned that it was "attributed to" or "style of". When I received the painting later I had concerns. I had an expert look at the painting and it was for sure a "fake". When confronting Miami Auction Gallery I received an apology and they were willing to take it back and give me a credit which I could use for another purchase. But they will not compensate for my transport costs to Europe (costly!)-and I cannot simply get the money back. This despite that THEY made the mistake/sold a "fake". I am not sure about my legal position but will try to find out. Be careful if you participate in their auctions!

Hi Tim, I know we spoke earlier yesterday. Our apologies for the confusion. We only work with one Shipping partner 6701. We always alert the customer that the item has been picked up by the UPS store. We include this information in the invoice and the auction details. Please see below. All paintings will be picked up by UPS no matter the size. Our UPS shipping partner (UPS STORE 6701) will invoice and handle shipping cost and arrangement. Once your item is picked up you will get notified by us via email on file. Due to the holidays the item was picked up late on 12/27/2021, and you were going to receive an email the day you called on 12/28/2021. You called us with out giving us a time to reach back. You have been reached out by our UPS store with the quote. We also state in our auction details that phone calls are available from 10 am to 6 pm. You reach out prior to 10 am. We are also short staff due to Covid Omicron. I hope you understand. Thank you
