Top Notch Auction House
Item was received in professionally prepared box. Item is as advertised. A great addition to my collection. This is my second purchase through Morphy. The first purchase I have to admit I was too impatient in receiving it. I have learned that nothing is impossible for the person that doesn’t have to do anything. My apologies to Morphy for not understanding that when there is substantial number of auctioned items that need to be processed and the properly packaged, it is going to take more than a couple of weeks in order that an item is received. I have the easy job in this process as the buyer. Just a great life lesson for me. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to participate in the auction.

Never sent invoice
When i called they sent an invoice and check my junk/spam mail. The invoice was never sent. They resent the invoice and it was paid.

More Descriptive
All in all a good smooth transaction. Nice product for the price. As for the description, the Dagger Pommel was loose due to stripped threads on the blade tang and this should have been in the description. Totally satisfied with the outcome of the transaction and product.

Disappointed
I received my item, and it is restored. Here is Morphy's condition report on the item: "CONDITION: Outstanding original condition showing bright color & gloss throughout the original glaze. Excellent condition rims and edges with heavy casted Native American graphics throughout. A beautiful example. Condition: (Excellent)." To say I am disappointed is an understatement. An auction house of Morphy's stature should know better than this.

very disappointed with them. they made a mistake on a listing and refused to rectify it. l
dan morphy auctions is very over rated and is no better then any other auction house. they made a mistake on a listing and although they corrected it with live bidding they did not correct it with internet bidders. they seem to have very little knowledge about internet procedure. they also did not have the common decency to return my phone calls although they said they would. they need better customer service which in my opinion and experience with them they are lacking. also in my opinion they are more interested in the buck then their reputation which is important in the auction business. they will never be mistaken for christies, sotheby's or doyle as they don't have their act together. they have failed on all levels with my experience with them and I will thing twice or thrice if I ever bid on any more of their auctions.

Payment
Tried two times to make payment, the payment was not received or accepted. I have never had issues paying for any items. This was very frustraiting. I have now missed out 9f some extremely awesome items. My bank confirmed the payments went out, but were not accepted. I truely hope to be able to purchase items in the future as this Auction house has excellent items. The only issue was acceptance of the payment. I pray for better and more successful transactions in the future. I hope to deal with them in the future.

Poor Communication and low level of customer service
I purchased a high value item. The auction house is unable to provide any information regarding shipping other than that items ship in up to 15 days. They were unwilling to speak to shipping or allow me to speak to shipping to get a general idea on the time frame. This is a high value item. I have never had an auction house provide such a lack of information or be so unwilling to provide any sort of information about when a customer can receive an item.
