They are a great company and offer the gold standard in service.

They made a dispute befor the term of payment. It is not a new concern but just to let You know. The payment for items was on 9th March. On 8th March I wanted to pay but there was no possibility. The dispute caused that I couldnt bid on other auctions. Now they are blockin me on their auctions. I dont recommend....

Thanks for the chance to buy this very nice pocket watch. It is just as represented, no surprises and pleasing. It is helpful that packaging and shipping was organized in-house and the service is reasonably priced. Shipping is not super fast but it does get done. I was reassured reading other's feedback about that so I was patient, not anxious. It is more hassle to organize wire transfers than paying by credit card but crooks have spoiled things for everyone and it was made clear in the sale conditions. Trustworthy seller.

I won a Western Field Model 48 in pretty obvious rough condition. I bid the opening bid of $50 and won the rifle. Everyone thinking "hey pretty good deal" well not when you receive a gun that won't even feed shells from the magazine tube and when you got charged 28 % auction fees plus $86 for shipping and another $35 for handling and were charged the wrong tax rate on top of that. Bear in mind I was charged almost immediately for this item and sent my FFL promptly. When I complained about the shipping and handling fees I was told I could just let them hold the item and resell at the next auction and recover my fees. I just bought a Mossberg this week on Live auctioneers in a state further away and was charged a fair $46 dollars for shipping for a rifle that is heavier and 2 inches longer. This case is pure and simple, Dan Morphy Auctions didn't get the price they wanted at auction and made up the difference and then some on shipping and handling. Don't assume you will get a bargain dealing with Dan Morphy's because they have no problem making up a short sale with heavy shipping and handling and it doesn't bother them if what you receive doesn't work as long as they got paid. Hands down the worst auction house I have bought from through Live auctioneers. I love Live auctioneers...... I have no love for Dan Morphy's and you won't either if you buy something for less than they expected to get out of it. Buyer beware. You have been warned. Good luck if you buy from Dan Morphy's. Maybe you will fare better than me, but I doubt it. I did everything possible to avoid having to post negative feedback for Dan Morphy's but they didn't seem to care what I posted. Buyer's beware. I won an auction bid and sent numerous emails asking about payment and shipping, I got crickets back. Email notice said invoice in process. 2 weeks later after 3 more emails to Dan Morphy auctions I was emailed that I didn't win the item.? What, I was on line with auction and received a post that I won with a copy showing what I won and my bidder number. Well, 3 more emails and now they won't respond. The story is I got a good buy and they pulled my deal as they want to re list the item because seller wasn't happy. Disappointment would be an understatement to say the least. 3 weeks to resond to my inquiries is unacceptable not to mention unprofessional. This isn't the first time this has happened to me, the other was with another auction house but the same outcome. I believe this is a legal issue but I believe you should be very very careful when you participate in these Auctions. I welcome a retraction of my review, however, the uction Company will need to respond in a timely manner.

Very poor shipping time. Ask them when no answer. They could at least let you know what is going on with the shipping?

Great early version cars, clean engines with working tenders

I spent the whole day watching the auction and I was very excited about the eighth lots that I won. It took a few days for the invoices to come out, but when they did, I contacted them and said I would be mailing a check to save the 3 % charge. I understand that they would wait for the check to clear my bank. The check cleared three weeks ago and I still have not received my merchandise. I have messaged Morphy’s twice from the app and I have left two voicemails with zero response. Not only have they ruined the buying experience of taking part in the auction, but their lack of follow-through is an example of poor business, practice and lack of customer service. The 28 % buyers premium should warrant top notch customer service. Morphy’s has failed me in every way possible since the auction.

i dont understand i won a whiskey 12 "tray at best quarter" thick it was shipped to me in double walled 16x16x16 heavy box heavy over kill cost me alot

I knew Morphys had a very high buyers premium but then they added a $50 handling fee to ship one item. My $275 item ended up costing $535. Their fees are criminal

First of all the pictures of the items. Should have more angles of each items in the group. Also I don’t understand why you get 28 percent from the buyer? The seller yes! The shipping was fast. And packed very well.

Love Morphys auction and staff!!!!

I received the rifle and not having owned a Trap Door before I thought something didn't look right with the barrel and chamber end of the gun. I took it to a friend that knows Trap Doors and he brought out one of his. Sure enough the side of the barrel was blown out on the ejector side and no ejector even in the gun. The gun was a wall hanger. My buddy said lots of bone head try and shoot smokeless in these and that just what happens. The case blows out and ruins the rifle. Dissappointed they didn't catch the issue but very appreciative they made it right. I would not worry about buying from them again. Thanks

28 % buyers premium, $54 shipping for a three pound item, $35 handling charge, tax, won item for $125 total after expenses $270 and change.

I purchased a 30 inch black forest wood carving of a dog for $2400 plus the fees. It arrived after a month and I noticed 3 inches of the tail on the dog was broken off and someone put varnish over it to disguise the damage. I sent photos to Morphy auctions they offered me a $500 refund. I told them the item can not be fixed and is damaged, I then told them I'd live with the damage for a $1000 refund, mind you it cost me in total $3500 for the wood carving. They then called me back and said they will not give the $1, 000 nor the original offer of $500. They said they would resell it for me. I said that is not acceptable. I'm stuck now. I buy at least one item a week off of liveauctioneers never been treated this way. this is a big auction house that sells expense stuff don't trust them. They will screw you over.

Very unreliable, dishonest Auction. It took almost two month to get our item from them, they not accepting Credit Card on jewelry and after we received ring that we purchased from them, we learned why they don't want accept Credit Card. They provided false advertisement, misleading customers. Ring was not soldered or welded together, it was glued and immediately fell into two parts, one part was 14k and the other 9k. and they advertise whole ring 14K and never said anything that it just glued together, we paid as for nice 14K ring according to their description and got a scrap with lover carat than they advertised. We will never buy from them again, very bad experience

After paying for the item, it took multiple communications to receive confirmation the item would be shipped. At one point, I reached out to Live Auctioneers to intercede to assist me with getting some definitive information on when the item would be shipped. It took over 4 weeks post payment to be in receipt of the item.

Firearm was very well described. It was not noted that the spring on the loading gate was not functioning but this is a minor thing on a breech loading carbine this old. Be aware shipping will take longer than you think. Ours arrived 26 days after the firearm was paid for. But, to be expected in a large auction like they do. Packing for shipping was outstanding. We will definitely buy from them in the future.
