Tom Harris Auctions specializes in antique clock & watch auctions. We offer all types of antique auctions throughout the year and semi-annual clock & watch auctions in May & October. We offer competitive commission rates, international advertising, nationwide pick up and professional packing. Tom Harris started working auctions with his father (Gene Harris) before he was a teenager, he continued by going to the Missouri Auction School and becoming an auctioneer. He has been an auctioneer for 30 years, in 1995 he separated from the family business and built his own auction service. In 2003 he bought his father's buildings in Marshalltown, Iowa and continued with his own auction service. Tom will do on-site auctions or make arrangements to do auctions in other locations if needed. He offers in-house and online auctions for the benefit of the the seller and the buyer. This broadens the market for the seller and offers a wide variety of items to buyers who cannot or do not have the time to travel.
